75th Anniversary Greek Ball

The team were delighted to once again attend the Oinoussai Benevolent Fund Ball during November in the Pavilion at the historic Tower of London.

The charity was set up in 1942 by the Oinoussians living in London. The fund provides support to various projects and those in need on the island, which in recent years of economic difficulties has seen the funds assistance increasingly needed.

This was a special year for the fund as it was celebrating its 75th Anniversary and the location was indeed most fitting. It was evident that the organisers put a great deal of hard work and effort into making this such a special event. The organizers had also arranged for the showing of a short documentary, where we viewed the lives of the island's inhabitants, which was thoughtful and quite charming. The inhabitants say that the sea is their life, and although it's a tough existence, they would rather be there than anywhere else. "It's a pure and beautiful island".

It was an enjoyable evening and it was such a pleasure to see many of our clients there, who were also supporting this charity.

We are already looking forward to the next event.
